hi,
i have a 177 pod. i want to change the interior light bulbs to led's. First how do I get the covers off. Second HOW DO I get the old bulbs out of the sockets?? I tried pulling one and the plastic part that the bulb fits into snapped off. Its still good can glue it back.Last what size led do I get??? I live in Canada but I don't think the size of the led would be different from the US. thanks for help ------------- Vancouver Island loving its beauty With Misha the lab |

Nope, LED's didn't become standard until 2014. You squeeze slide then pull the cover away. Hard to explain, easy to do. You need 921 wedge base bulbs. Most used a flat paddle style, 12-20 or so emitters per paddle, soft white, unless you like the operating room look.. then "bright white" It cost us about $15 to do our whole trailer. ------------- |

Just pull them out.. they are wedge bases. They don't have any locking lugs etc.. just "stuck" in there. ------------- |

Squeeze and slide, I've been trying to get those covers of for a year and no matter how much I squeeze or try to slide the stay firmly in place. Not all 2014s have LEDs. Ours didn't. I got the Amazon specials and changed out all of them except the bathroom, the porch light, and the front exterior light. I didn't have any problems getting the covers off, but the bulbs are a bit difficult to extract. Just pull hard. The soft white LEDs are easy on the eyes as well as the battery.
