So my owners manual doesn't really tell me how to use the sewer tank flush. I opened up the black tank, hooked up water to the flush connection and turned on the water. Nothing came out. I am now pushing water through my toilet. Can we do better?

| There should be a little handle on the side of the pipe, near the end, that you pull out AFTER you've hooked up your drain hose. Have you done that yet? |

There has been post from others that had the same problem that when you hook your garden hose up to the black water tank flush that nothing comes out. It turns out that the inline check valve is installed backwards and so no water can flow to the black tank.

If getting to the dealer is convenient and it can be scheduled quickly, then it would be good to let the dealer do it. If, on the other hand, the dealer is a distance away and they tell you that it can't be done for several weeks, and you can handle simple tools, then by all means, do it yourself. I did not have the problem, but others have said that it is a simple job. You would think FR would have these down pat by now and at least do enough training to keep the quality up to a higher or somewhat high standard.

Having spent a career in manufacturing, with some of it making vehicles for the military, I know two things: 1. If rPods were made under a military contract they would cost $300,000. 2. They would be delivered with at least as many problems as current production, and FR would charge the government in another contract to fix the problems. The weapons system I worked with my entire military career did not work, It required millions in additional contracts from the prime contractor to eventually fix the problems. This is a better link on the issue. Getting access to this valve will be interesting. Way under the sink.
