Hi there-I have a question regarding the stabilizer jacks on my Pod (2016 182g HRE). When engaging my stabilizer jacks I simply get them pressed firmly up against the boards I bring for this, being careful not to use them too much so they are not lifting the camper. My question however is the trailer still has a little bit of sway even with all four down, the wheels chocked and the hitch jack down. Is this normal?

On pavement or concrete I just snug the stabilizers, on other surfaces I snug plus a half turn then check them the next morning for settling.

I turn mine down with the battery powered drill, with the torque setting at 10 or 12. On dirt it does push into the ground a little bit, but I figure that is about the same as standing inside and moving around.

It is normal, both my pods did that. After a while, you don't even notice it.

I put a tiny bit of weight on mine to make sure they're snug. The trailer raises between 1/4" and 1/2", but the vast majority of the weight is still on the wheels and tongue jack.

I always have a little sway More so on dirt but I use boards when not camping on concrete pad we also had this issue with A Viking pop up that we used to own

Some sway is normal. The amount of sway depends on how far the stabilizers are extended. It is possible to limit the amount of sway by setting the jacks on large blocks.

I always bring with me 3 scissor jacks for extra support. I like mine firm.

Once our stabilizers are firmly on the soil (we normally boondock or camp on dirt) I will go 1 full turn clockwise, result is there is minimal sway. Been doing it that way for 5 years with our 177.

I use these and place them on both sides halfway down (near the middle) supporting the frame:

They are aluminum and super light.

I always try to make the 3 scissor jacks into a tri-pod. I placed them under the frame rails close to the door's step, and under the slider.

It's solid and no noticeable wobble.
