Hello,
I have a deposit on a 183g model R-pod. I have one reservation and that is I am nearly 73" tall, and the bed is only 74" long. Is this really a big deal to a lot of people over 6' I have read online about people selling them less than a month after purchase cause they can't get used to it. (but this person also claimed his 69" son hated the length) I like the weight and the size of it. I do pull with Ram 1500 Hemi, so I technically could go bigger, but for where I go camping size does matter and limits spots you can pick.
Just trying to get feed back on people that are 6' and over.

I'm 6'-2" and I either sleep diagonally or curled up. My chief complaint isn't with the size of the mattress in my 171 but the comfort of it. I have added a pillow top that seems to help a little.

I'm not sure but isn't the 183G bed also the dinette table?

It is also the table, but when we camp we are hardly ever inside. So we figured if we wanted a small table and chair we would get one and put it just outside in the enclosed awning. So we were going to use our 4" foam pad in place of the cushions.

Also didn't mention that I would be sharing the bed with the 5'6" wife lol

I have about the same size missus. She's not fond of when I decide to go diagonal.

A lot of it will depend on how you plan to use the camper. For us, it's weekends, long weekends, maybe 4 days max. camping trips once every 4-6 weeks. It's great for "camping trips", but if we were going to go touring or longer stays, we would likely go with a larger travel trailer.

Most of our trips range from weekends/long weekends. We sometimes have a week. And every 2nd year we do a 2 week trip.

I tried laying down on it at the dealer, and I was ok with it, in the 5 minutes I laid on it, but as time goes on for deciding if I want it, I kept wondering if I would be able to do it for an extended period of time.
