I have double propane tanks of the RPOD but I only use one for the trailer and the other is for cooking. I was thinking of picking up a Camp Chef stove or something similar that I could attach and store on the tongue but then just take it off and set it up as an outdoor kitchen. I use a longer LP hose from the 2nd tank and it would be a simple set-up.

Anyone ever tried something similar to this?

We have an outdoor stove we would attach to the single tank on our pod, and now to our 2nd tank on our Salem.

I have had a 2 burner camp chef for years.  We have some natural critters called leaf cutter bees and wasps that like to nest in and on it.  So if it is on the tongue all the time they might be a problem.  The leaf cutter bees plug up the orfices in the burner.

Not much of those around me... I was thinking of putting a tongue box on with room to stick the battery in and then slide in the stove of choice and the associated bits. Once we're in I could take it up and set it up on the legs. The other option is the Weber Q series BBQ... I like those as well and could use my Coleman stove for all the boiling and griddle work.
