Hello All,
My name is Michael. I am single, but think (hoping ) that will change soon. I have to admit, I am not an R-pod owner as of yet. I have been (for about two years now)checking my RV Options. Everything from a 4WD cargo van (and converting it), to a Class "B" RV, to a towable trailer. I own a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I was thinking of using it for a trade in to get a van or class B RV. But with the repairs ongoing, the Jeep is getting better with time. SO; do I want to use my RV as a daily driver (must trade my Jeep) to get Van or Class "B" or do I want the option to set up camp and have the ability to leave with my tow vehicle and come back to the camp site? Well, when I saw my first R Pod, I was hooked. The owner (in a Safeway parking lot) gave me the complete tour! I knew then that R pods weren't just about the trailer itself, but the owners were a special group of people. So. the bottom line is, by this time next year I will be an R Pod owner. So what better place to learn than to be at the root of information. I have to admit, that I am a prepper by nature. I have supplies and solar panels and emergency supplies, so why not join a forum and learn, learn, learn. Thank you for letting me share. I hope to someday (with my new lady friend) meet up with you and talk face to face.

Welcome to the forum !   Sounds like you will be well prepared when you do get your camper. The r-pod is a good choice for a small camper with a lot of comfort compared to sleeping in a tent like some members have done including myself prior to owning a r-pod.This forum is a great help for any questions you may have, there are many experienced and knowledgeable campers to learn from.
