Working on getting our RPod within the next couple weeks, will up load some pics soon.
We will be camping around Kodiak AK for a few years while we live here and going back to the states through the Yukon when we leave and hitting camp ground the whole way through. Looking forward to new adventures for me and my family. We are looking at a HoodRiverEdition R179 and will know more about it tomorrow once the dealer gets some more free time. Any tips or info on these campers would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the group! 179 is a really nice floor plan with a lot of room.

Nice photos! It is a really efficient floor plan with lots of storage room and great counter space.

Yea that is what i've been told and that is the main reason we went with the 179, the slide out is just barely a foot less wide than a full size bed so i think thats an ok trade off vs the 178 with the smaller counter space and larder second bed/dining area, we will be getting it in on the 23 so two more wks.

It was Jesse and he took good care of use from what he could do at least over the phones, email, and text messaging.

Got out 16' 179er HRE in this past Saturday. So far so good, just inspecting it and playing around with it and trying to learn things as i go. Got a few things i will for sure be addressing myself in regards to design flaws i feel should be done and im sure more to come, but nothing that has come up to complain about for the dealer or manufacturing build overall. I will be taking it out within the next couple weeks to get our first little trip going. Not sure on location yet but iv got a few options around our island.

I think the wife and I have settled on naming it the "The DeLaPODza" to go with our last name of DeLaGarza.
