We just returned from a week on Washington Island with our Pod, and had a great week. Dar had a class at a fiber arts school on the Island, and I hung out and relaxed. I didn't hang out like another member here does, fyi. That is frowned upon on the Island. While my mind was idle, I thought that maybe we could have a gathering of the pods on Washington Island. Positives:

If there is enough interest I will contact the campground and negotiate a price. We paid $35.00 per night with electric and water hookups. So let me know what you think. Keith N Dar, Got any dates yet for the Washington Island Rally? We were going to the Soo that week but meeting with fellow R-Poders is always fun. Met a nice group at the Porkies last year. I even learned to like Hot dogs. Fall is a great time in the campgrounds...UPWILD ------------- UPWILD |

Hey Kewiski, we are making plans to go to Brimley state Park on Sept 4th and 5th. lots to do over there with the Soo so close and ship museums. Middle of the week after labor day is a good time to camp, usually no reservations needed. Let us know and well plan something..UPWILD ------------- UPWILD |

We will be in Door County already the weekend of Sept. 14th/15th. Let us know if it works out and if any one else will be up there, it would be nice to meet up. We are staying at Wagon Trail CG, Ellison Bay, but are planning on being on Washington Island one day.
