The wife and I are in Panama City for a week in a time share.  I was going to upload some pictures but the 1 I tried was 1800KB and the max is 500KB.  I'm glad we don't have to pay for the room because it rents for $595.00 a night!Cry  It is NICE though!  Maybe later I'll try to resize some pictures.

Have a good time!

The week before Christmas might be the only time I'd go to Panama City!

We traded our time share for this place.  It isn't very crowed this time of the year.  We drove east to Carrabelle to visit one of our favorite places to camp.  Of course we had to stop for lunch in Apalachicola!  The oysters are still the best in the country!!

Best oysters?

Wel, this season, OK.  Cedar Key oysters trump all when the water's right.

Its a good thing we didn't have to pay anything.  Sometimes owning a timeshare pays off!

I couldn't get very good pictures.  It is actually more like an apartment.  A full kitchen, 2 bedrooms with a king sized bed, washer/dryer screened in deck with a table & chairs, bath & kitchen have granite counter tops, access to a large heated pool and hot tub.  Oh, and each bedroom has a TV and a couch.  The only you need to bring is your food.  Everything else is provided.

Oysters roasting on a charcoal fire!  Definitely the best way to enjoy 'em!

Terry-  sounds like a beautiful place.  Plus the Panhandle beaches are beautiful.  We prefer Mexico Beach,
especially during student break times.  Cedar Key does not have those "travel poster" beaches and our
water often shows the effects of the Suwannee River outflow just a few miles up-coast from us.  I tell
folks that if we had pristine beaches and gin-clear water that we'd be as fouled up as the rest of Florida!

If you're ever interested in visiting, here's a link to the condo's we manage:

We aren't a time share, but we're not $595. a night, either!

(edit)-  Tech, if you consider this a 'commercial' post, please delete the link.  I don't mean to offend.
