I have a couple questions.
First, I’m having some trouble getting the exterior lights- the porch light and the floodlight up by the batteries to work. The porch light worked when I went and looked at it before I bought the camper, but now I can’t get it to work. Neither the switch on the bottom of the light or the light switch right inside the door do anything. The light up front I have never saw it on. I checked both bulbs and both look good. I haven’t got the multimeter out yet to see if I’m getting power to the sockets yet.
Is there something I’m missing here?
The 2nd question- the picture I have attached is of my fuse panel. The red light is lined up for the fuse location marked for the fridge. There’s no fuse here and the fridge still works. I’m wondering if there has been a mislabel and this fuse is for exterior lights and that’s the issue or if it’s totally unrelated.
I’m going to get some fuses tomorrow and test that slot out, but in the meantime any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Sounds like you have some electrical issues and you are on the right track. First off your lighting issues, you will need a multimeter to check where you have power. I would suspect the switches in both cases maybe faulty or just not working. Tracing that with a multimeter is the simplest way. As for the missing fuse, if it is labeled correctly that would control power to the fridge's mother board. Therefore if it missing the fridge should not "work" as in getting cold in any power setting, 120v, gas, or 12v. If you are referring to the fridge working if when you open it the light comes on well, that light may not be controlled by the "mother board" but without fuse #9 the fridge will not cool down. If it does then that it may indicate that the trailer has been rewired. That could be why the fuse has been taken out of the distribution box. Hope this helps.

Counting down from the top, it appears your label needs to shift down one slot.

Thanks JR. The fridge worked/cooled fine with that fuse not in place. I added a fuse to the empty slot with the red light just to see if that would fix the issue… and it did not. Still not sure what that slot is for. It got dark on me before I could do any more testing on the exterior lights themselves. We’re camping this weekend and next week so I’m just going to get some solar lights for the time being. Hoping I can figure it out when we get back.

When you added the fuse to the open slot did the red light go out or did it remain on? I agree with JR, appears the previous owner did some 'rewiring' and yes, you definitely need a multimeter to track down where you have and do not have power at the sockets. If hooked up to 120v shore power, do the lights in question work then?

The light went out when I put a fuse in that slot, but I still have no clue what it’s for. I was able to figure out the issue with the porch light though. The porch light switch has a short in it but that fuse had nothing to do with it. Still not sure on the light by the hitch though. I’m planning on replacing both and I’ll go from there.

Replacing both is a good idea. Our front lamp catches the brunt of travel weather and is failing.

Update-
I was able to get both lights going. Ended up replacing the porch light with a new unit. Was going to replace the hitch light, but for some reason it decided to start working. I’m going to ride it out until I have to replace that one(already have the new one).
Replacing the porch light was miserable due to the previous owner using extremely too much bathroom caulk to seal the light. The outside was calcified and rock solid and the inside was still nice and gooey. But finally got it all off and have a much nicer looking light now.
