I have a 2010 171 Rpod.  Got it out for 1st time.  Plugged it in to 110 for a couple of days.  Everything works except the fridge.  If I unplug the power cord, the Microwave will not work either.  I purchased a new battery but still have same problem.  Ant thoughts?  Thanks,  Randy

Need more information to make an educated guess.  Do the lights work on the eyebrow board or inside when the door is open?  On electric - does the chimney get warm/hot after being in this mode for 30 minutes?  On propane - does the igniter click when turned on this mode, is a flame present once the igniter stops clicking?  Have you checked the GFI where the fridge is plugged in to make certain you have power?  You purchased a new battery but have you checked the voltage with a multi-tester or voltmeter- you should be reading 12.72v or better.  Let us know what you find.  Thanks

Also, check your fuses on the converter to see if there are any 'red' lights on indicating a failed fuse.

None of the lights work on the eyebrow board nor does the inside light work.  GFI is good.  Checked it with multi tester.  I have 12V and 110 to the board. I am guessing either one of the control boards or both are bad?

Unfortunately, it sounds like the electronics of the refrigerator died. Given the age of the R-Pod and, presumably, the refrigerator, replacement might be your best option. That happened to the one in our prior R-Pod. I ended up replacing it with a Dometic CRX-1110E AC/DC refrigerator. That necessitated some modifications of the opening and capping off the propane line. The down side was that it cut the boondocking capability. The plus side was that it was very good at actually getting and keeping things cold. Plus, you could actually run it on DC without killing the battery in a couple of hours.

This is what it looks like:   https://www.wholesalemarine.com/dometic-crx1110e-rv-fridge-silver/ - https://www.wholesalemarine.com/dometic-crx1110e-rv-fridge-silver/

To whom it may concern:
I have a 2011 bought September 2010. We have not camped the last 3 years, but we are getting the trailer ready and testing the furnace, fridge, stove, microwave. All work fine--no issues. Only issue is the fresh water tank. The nipple cracked at the joint where the nipple meets the water tank. I was able to fix it, so all is good.
The trailer is always outside (for 15 years), no cover and all decals are fine. I forgot to mention that we have never had a leak from the roof, walls or floor. Also there are no soft spots in the floor or walls. And by the way, none of my cabinets have ever fallen on the floor, as suggested by more than one member. The reason my trailer is in this condition after 15 years is maintenance, maintenance, maintenance!
My built-in generator hasn't killed me yet and no fumes inside the trailer and no vibration, while others put a 3200 W generator on a rack in front of the trailer, so the whole campground can hear the rattling. My goal was to keep the noise of my generator within my campsite; 30-50 yards away you can barely hear it. Many people have stood right by my running generator and are surprised to be able to carry on a conversation in normal voices.
