Im pretty sure this has been discussed, but cant find! Turned furnace on last night and air comes on as well, and flashing E4. Thoughts? Merry Christmas. jpp

I don't know about the e4 error but our 2016 Rpod has to have the thermostat set to auto, otherwise the AC fan goes on along with the furnace.

I searched dometic thermostat and found a couple of posts on the error

On the rPod, the E4 error is a false error. That error signifies the outdoor sensor being disconnected. We don't have an outdoor sensor on the rPod.

Disconnect from shore power and disconnect your battery for a few minutes. Then reconnect. This should clear the error.

And as noted above, be sure that you have the thermostat fan set to AUTO so that the fan on the air conditioner doesn't come on with the furnace.
