Has anyone had to change the aerator in the 2021 Rpod 171 kitchen faucet and if so, did they have a heck of a time getting it out?
Has anyone completely replaced the kitchen faucet and was a bear to do? Thanks in advance!

I replaced the kitchen faucet in our former RPod 179, but since I was also replacing the sink, it was easier to get to the connections. Depending on how hard it would be to remove and reinstall the sink in your 171, that may be the way to go.

I did so 6 years ago on our then 8 year old 177. It did require 2 trips to the hardware store. Depending on what piping is used in your pod (pex?) and what is used on your new faucet (copper?) you will need either a couple of sharkbite adapters or a 'transition' that can be used to fit both dis-similar pipe types together.

Hello Stephen, I saw your post about replacing the kitchen sink, which I'm considering doing for my 2016 Rpod 178. May I ask what brand and model replacement sink you put in? William b.

I had ordered the faucet from Amazon. When I went back and looked, it was no longer available. It was one with the long hose that curled up over the top. I did not think a pull-out faucet with that hose and weight swinging below sink level was a good idea. The one I bought had a spring coil that was the full length of the hose. It looks nicer than the ones that have the spring only partially covering the hose. Anyway, choose one that suits you. You may need adapters to go from the house faucet type connectors to the ones used for plumbing in the R-Pod.
