I have a 177 with a Dometic RM8501 3 Way fridge.  I runs on 12 volt and shore power but it will not run on Propane.  I have replaced the Thermocoupling and the Grey control box on the back of the fridge.  The pilot light will come on and it will burn for a short period and then will go out.
Not sure what to check or do next.
Could a faulty gas valve creat this issue? Is it the main board on the front of the fridge?

Carefully clean the two contact rods above the combustion area.  Also a partially plugged propane regulator may be at fault.

If what jato recommends doesn't work, test your stove and furnace. If they experience any fluctuations in flame or ignition, you regulator may be the issue.

Not gonna be much help here, but had the exact same issue when I had my pod.  Did everything that was recommended at the time; cleaned rods, changed regulator (even though all other gas stuff worked great), blew out lines, replaced thermocoupling (I guess that's what its called), cleaned combustion area, etc.  Spent about $200 on parts and I never got it working and just gave up.  It was a bummer as those fridges really need gas if boondocking and traveling for periods of time.  If you ever get it running, Ill be anxious to hear just to see where I failedUnhappy .  Jon

I found that the regulator was okay. The issue was that there was an oily fluid in the gas line leading to the refrigerator. Turn off the propane at the bottle. Then disconnect the hose from the refrigerator end and the regulator end (not the pigtail, but the end that supplies the appliances). Put the regulator end in a container. Using a compressor, blow air in from the refrigerator end. If I am right, a significant amount of thick, oily liquid will be in the container. Then reconnect the lines at both ends and after the air is purged, try the refrigerator again. If it works, then this was the issue.

The reason this works is that the stove, furnace, and water heater take a high volume of propane. The flow is enough to push through the liquid for the high-volume appliances. The low flow for the refrigerator does not have the volume to push the liquid aside.
