Hi, I just started pulling a 178 with my Santa Fe and it pulls it just fine, your Grand Cherokee would have no problem. I'd make sure you have trailer brake capability, a weight distribution hitch and a sway bar though.

Not sure if you're from an area where the winters are tough, but if so you may want to make sure that it was winterized properly and that all the plumbing is OK... both city water hook up as well as "tank" water  to use the pump.  You may want to run water into the gray and black tanks to make sure the monitors work and they flush out OK.

Hope it works out for you and you'll be able to enjoy it.

Good Afternoon,

I've got a Jeep Grand Cherokee 2014, with a tow Capacity of 6200. I'm looking at a R-178 (2015). The owner says he has only used it 4 times and bought it new. Initially looks good, we extended the kitchen and the electronics seem to work. What should I inspect prior to making the offer? I'm mostly concerned that it sat for 3 years.

Thank you!
