nice surprise from mo dmv.  i was able to buy a lifetime tag for my pod.....$57.    im good now till i bite the.................   curious, was that a good deal? cooking spaghetti and meatballs btw.   hogone

Tell me is it Hog One (as in Harley Davidson) or Ho Gone! (as in I'm outta here) or Hogo NE  (i am a hogo from Nevada)?
Anyway, you got a great deal, cost for a lifetime plate in Michigan for our pod was 75 bucks back in 2011. So for 6 years it has cost us $ 12.50 / year, a pretty good deal also.

In NC, property tax is now included in with the registration renewal. I can't renew the tag unless I also pay the property tax on the R-Pod. There is no such thing as a lifetime tag here. Unhappy

I read Maine has lifetime plates, too, and they will sell them to anyone in any state. I never confirmed it.
