hmmmm- the cabinet to the left isn't revealing anything, nor are there open shelves to the right facing the dinette. There's nothing on the outside of the Pod either. Sooooo- out comes the chainsaw!!!!! fine- a small exploratory hole...
That button at the top of the remote?
That's the power button..press it.
Turn it all off.
Go outside!

Interesting, on the older 171's that area is wider and completely open, from the bottom edge to the top.  It has elastic mesh on the front.  But, the entertainment unit was mounted underneath the cabinet and not in it.

Would like to open the area above the stereo for books, CDs, DVD, what have you. Does anybody know what's behind this panel?

On our 171 we mounted the spare in front beside the propane tank it made a big difference with the tongue weight.

Good point.

I forgot about that - moving the spare was the first thing I did when I got my 'pod home.    The spare is attached to the bed board.  Not only is it a lot of weight back there, but it makes for a very heavy lift when setting up the "bedroom".  I simply put it in the back of the truck.

moving spare tire to front of trailer instead of hanging off the back is another way to transfer the c.g.

My 177 swayed a bit until I got the right hitch height. It rides best with a bit of a rake angle towards the TV. Since then, all was well.
