Just getting started on mods for our new (to us) 2023 R-pod 153 with Beast Mode.  It doesn't have the doors on the entry cabinet.

That entry storage is very deep, but narrow and not that usable (8" wide x 22-7/8" tall x 21" deep, each cabinet).  I installed some slideout shelves to make it more accessible.  Kind of expensive, but a big improvement.

The only minor worry I have is that the shelves in that cabinet are pretty thin, so they can be easily overloaded.  I plan to have lightweight stuff in there, so I shouldn't have a problem.

When you're buying the slideouts, get the kind with the slides completely under the drawers, so the drawers bolt to the top of the slide.  If you get the kind where the slides bolt to the side of the drawer, you'll lose width onthe drawers.

Here's the two I bought:

That would be my concern as well. Even with light stuff the weight of the drawers might cause the shelves to collapse the shelf they are mounted to, especially with road bumps and vibration. The goos news all you have to do is add another layer of plywood and make sure you fasten it to the strong part of the cabinet.

Nicely done.

This of course is not true. With just a 200 watt panel and 200ah battery the fridge would run for 3 days with zero sun and pretty much run forever with sun. They just do not take that much.

This is not true. A 10 cubic ft 12 volt rv fridge will run 3 days on just 200ah of battery. add a 200 watt solar panel and it will run forever.
