The front decal on our 2014 R-Pod 178 Forest River edition is severely faded and cracked. I just ordered a replacement. Any suggestions/recommendations on best way to remove the old and apply the new?

I've watched a few videos, but would prefer to hear from real life stories. What to do/use, not do/use, products, etc.

We re-decaled our entire 179. We tried mineral spirits, WD-40, Goo-Gone, and some citrus stuff I can't remember the name of. The only thing that works was Rapid Remover, which we got on Amazon. We bought the kit that comes with plastic scraping blades and a "squeegee" for the new decal. You're going to use a fair amount on that decal since it is so big. Take your time and work a small bit at a time.

I got my decal from RVGraphicsStore.com
Spoke to the person who answered the phone and they took the time to answer all my questions. Received the decal in less than a week (they're in California, I'm in Oregon). Included with the decal was practice material, and that helped the confidence level. They also sent me a freebie, a mini frog on a lily pad decal.
I applied the decal this week and it went pretty smooth. The hardest part was the the prep; getting the old decal & gum/glue off.
