Back from Maiden Voyage

   Hi all.New to the forum and new to R-Pod life. My wife and I are the proud owners of a 2021 192 R-Pod.
For the past couple of weeks I've been skimming through the posts in preparation for our first outing. 
We just came back from some boondocking in Coconino National Forest in northern Arizona.
We made some mistakes - ( "huh - some bees around here - it's the forest , no big deal". After being forced inside the trailer to avoid constant swarms; the next morning hooking up in the midst of a hundred bees - we realized it's ok to be a little picky when choosing a spot) We learned a lot. ( why did we pack our clothes in a suitcase?) and had a blast. We stayed an extra day ( the whole idea is to be flexible, right?) and can't wait 'til the next outing.
One thing that I think would be super helpful is to have a quasi-permanent place for my 2 small 2000 watt generators. Attached to the bumper? A rack above the propane tank? Any suggestions.

	Bees are attracted to anything that smells sweet....does your wife wear perfume or did she hang some air fresheners in the camper? Whatever it is, get rid of it when camping. (not your wife, but maybe her bottle of Windsong! lol) Also, I would recommend to just carry the generators in the tow vehicle if you have the room.

	Stromberg Carlson Trailer Tray Look on various sources (e.g. Amazon, etrailer.com) for the best price. I have one and I used to carry my Generac iX2000 on it. I'm not 100% sure it would be large enough for two generators though. You would need to look at the dimensions. That is one alternative to carrying them in your tow vehicle if you don't have the room there or if you don't want to carry them in the back of an SUV if that is your tow vehicle. A pickup would be fine though. Welcome and congratulations! You have already had one adventure. I hope you have many more fun adventures and make many great memories doing so.

	+1 to podwerks on carrying the generators in the TV, and in front of the rear axle if possible. Weight on the trailer tongue or back bumper is your enemy. The rpod frame is none too strong to handle a hundred pounds of extra weight like that, especially if you're boondocking, carrying water, and travelling on rough roads. I tow with an SUV and keep my generator inside. It won't get stolen and it doesn't smell or have flammable material in it because I converted it to propane. I once owned a couple acres in Coconino National Forest below the Snow Bowl, great camping area, especially in the fall with the elk herds in the area. Have fun.

	Thanks ,all. Right now I do have an SUV as TV. Good to know about the weight component on the tongue or bumper. Offgrid - nice area to have had some land!
