Mounting Solar Panels

   I'm thinking about
adding a couple of 200W solar panels to my rPod 171c using Unistrut attached to
the roof with VHB tape.  Does anyone have
some long term experience with this approach. 
My concerns are that I don't want to damage the roof, and I don’t want
to turn the panel into a kite while driving down the road at 70 mph.   Thanks
