The day I picked up the camper, I made sure to stay around 65 mph for the 60 mile trip to the dealer. I averaged 2.2 miles/kWh, On the way home towing the trailer I averaged 1.2 miles per kWh. On a full charge I get a 408 mile range, So I am expecting somewhere around 200 to 225 mile range. Temperature that day was about 40 degrees Fahrenheit. I traded in a 2025 F150 Powerboost for the Silverado and I too had the 700 range full and 450 with a lightweight trailer attached. However, The Silverado so far has been the best truck I have owned/driven, hands down. What this means is a little more pre planning for the trip and the use of a couple of great apps, including the in truck Nav set up powered by Google Maps.

Thanks for reaching out. Happy new Year!

I would be curious to see what kind of range you get pulling an Rpod.

Our F150 can go ~~ 700 miles when not towing. The range drops to more like ~~ 450 miles when pulling the Rpod.

IDK how far your Silverado can go without towing, but the range will likely be cut by 50% or so pulling a trailer.

Hello everyone, Just recently bought a new 2024 R-Pod 180C from Bangston Motor Homes in Huntsville. It was in their wholesale lot and found it on their website. Eventhough it is a 2024, it had never been registered or sold, so it is considered new and carries the factory warranty. It is my second travel trailer I've owned, the first was back in 1982. So, it's been awhile.

Got a smaller unit because I will be towing with my New Silverado EV. Planning a trip this early spring with my 89 year old dad visiting the mid west so he can revisit his heritage. Will also use it to camp with my husband and our dogs. Look forwarded to reading and hearing about great adventures, and exploring mods and problems with you all.

Best regards, David and Lester in NE Alabama!
