I use clip on battery operated lights for reading.  They are rechargeable and have 3 light settings.
I clip them on my shirt or a blanket.

We have a 2019 179 and when we first took delievery of the trailer my wife and I did not like the "puck" lighting in the trailer. Way too bright.  So we put in task lighting, 2 in the kitchen area, 2 above the dinette, and the last one above the head end of our bed.  I had to hard wire them into the 12v system, but that was pretty simple, just connect to the wiring going to the puck lights.  Took a little time but we're glad we took the time.  We use them all the time, just at night though.  Hope this helps.

Looking for ideas on cordless/rechargeable reading light(s) for sleeping area. I've added a shelf above the bed so the light(s) could be mounted or "clipped" to shelf, or some how mounted to wall. I do not want to mess with adding an electrical outlet and/or stringing wire.
Suggestions...?
