Welcome to the forum. Keep us updated on your adventures. The battery upgrade question is one many of us have faced. I often thought using a Jackery would be a good interim solution. Best of luck.

Hello, I'm new here and a new R-Pod owner, although not new to the RV world. I just purchased a 2018 R-Pod 179 and am outfitting it for a 4-day trip to San Simeon Beach State Park next weekend.

Name is Alan, I'm 75 years young, and will be solo adventuring in my R-Pod. My wife and I traveled a bit in a 24' Aljo and a 26' NOBO over the years. I'm on my own now (widower) and looking forward to seeing a lot of the western US, and maybe even a coast to coaster or the four corners. Who knows? My setup is a 2019 Ram Laramie 4x4 ecodiesel, pulling the R-Pod. Off grid powered by Jackery, we'll see if I need to upgrade the AGM and charge controller after this trip. I'm excited to see how it goes. Pictures maybe this week.
