Like a big loyal dog, it follows you everywhere, blocking the rear view and having its own needs.

Sounds like you've got your rig well sorted out. We towed our 179 with a 2017 Nissan Frontier for 50,000+ miles. You're right, that rig combo is easy to get around with

The first year is under our belt with the R-Pod. The changes and time spent traveling and working with it have been positive.
Major changes included a tongue tool box adapted to house 300 AH Lithium batteries, 200 watt panels suitcase style with 40' of line so they can be in the sun and the trailer in the shade. We boondock a lot.
A 8" high quality mattress for better sleep. A Blue Ox weight distributing hitch for a better towing feel. Learning to balance weight between fresh water, grey and black tanks for better towing.
3 trips to Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana, 1 trip to Arizona and Southern Nevada.
Repack the wheel bearings and check brakes.
Total living time in it, 2 1/2 months AZ. 3 months ID, WY, MT. Several short trips to the coast.
2 comfortable late 70's people and 1 tabby cat that likes to travel.
Tow rig, Nissan Frontier 4x4 crewcab, average mileage 12.5-14.7
Our comments to each other, "this is the easiest rig we have had"
Previous rv's 2, 1 ton GMC's, 2, travel trailers, 1, 28' Cameo, 1, 26' Prowler.
2, campers, Northwood and Six-Pak, 1, motor home, Trek. 26 years total of rv and travel.
The R-Pod and Nissan make travel easy, you can get into and out of Walmart easy, buying fuel is simple, navigating city streets is easy and you only take 2 parking spaces.
