Also, take the wire leading to the door mechanism and bend it into a drip loop so that moisture won't run down into the switch mechanism.

I believe you have a sensor on or inside the door mechanism itself that may have moisture on it, causing the beeping.  Take a hair dryer to that sensor and dry it out, hopefully that will alleviate this issue.

My wife and I own and have used an rPod 178 for nearly ten years.  On our most recent trip the refrigerator has started beeping for 5 or 10 seconds.  We can stop it by turning it off and on but it started beeping again in maybe 30 minutes or so.  It seems to be cooling OK.  We've tried the 'standard' suggestions - it's level, seals up good, does not seem to have buildup on fins on the outside of the camper.  We have never used the propane to cool it.  Use electricity from camp power source or battery while driving.  

Thanks for any thoughts on how to resolve this.
