Being lazy, I don’t clean, wax, or cover. Ten years in, the trailer looks good.

High mountain desert, dry, windy, dusty, exposed.

I use Meguiar's Ceramic Spray for all surfaces M2501. Clean and dry it first then spray on and wipe off any excess. Looks good and seems to last.

If it is new, any fiberglass compatible wash and wax will do the job. If you have oxidation, then you will need to get a gel-coat restorer, followed by a wax/ceramic coating. You can tell if you have oxidation by running your hand over the surface and you have a white-ish chalky powder.

It isn't the Azdel you will be cleaning, but the fiberglass panel bonded to the Azdel. Use any cleaner and wax that you would use with fiberglass such as that for fiberglass boats. Ceramic spray wax should be just fine.
