Welcome and congrats. I'm a former 172 owner, and I really enjoyed it. Easy to tow, and fits in a tent site most places. I'm also in mass, see you out there.

Enjoy your 172.  They are very comfortable trailers.

No R-Dome included - major bummer!  Anyone know where I can find one for less than a bajillion dollars, please let me know!  :)

Welcome.

In lieu of an rdome, consider getting a Clam. There are several sizes and they don't cost a bazilion. Much easier to put up and take down, more flexible to locate, and more bug proof. Once I got one I never used the rdome again and ultimately sold it. Not trying to start a debate with all you rdome lovers. Just a different option.

Welcome Mike!
I love the 172 but mine's older with no central vac.  I do, however, have the rdome and its a major plus, a bit of a learning curve to put it up efficiently but a really nice addition. You'll love your rpod
