I have an indoor electric turkey fryer, no splash, can do on counter top. This year I did a chicken because spouse is deployed. I love them 6 lb. roasting chickens, but not a turkey.

I like the pully system for the turkey fryer. I almost always get splashed if I put the turkey in the fryer by myself
|

Kind of a crappy day on the island- cool for Florida, rain on and off and enough wind to make it border on miserable- Perfect weather for feasting and football!

Thanksgiving is just the best holiday. Family, friends, food. Going down to be with our extended family today, so it will be nice.

Yes and Yes Mark! Life is good. A balmy 31 today but there is a nice glowing fire in our wood stove as well, preparing the charcoal grill, turkey is already in the oven, family and invited guests with no nearby family preparing to come to give thanks on this special day. Happy Thanksgiving to all.
