7 pin tail replacement

   Has anyone tried replacing the 7-pin tail from the front of the trailer to beneath. I need to have a longer length to the back of my pickup. I'm thinking of putting in a junction box to replace the dirty Rusty wiring setup that's existing from the factory. We have a 2018 180.
