Just purchased a 2018 189 and the previous owner had removed decals.
What products have others used to make the "ghosting" go away?

You won't be able to remove it completely, but you can make it less noticeable. The reason you can see the the decal placement is because the thin skin of gelcoat has oxidized. You can apply any car cleaner/wax to the camper and buff around where the decal was an it will look a lot better. I used Meguiar's #50, Marine and RV finish restorer.
