How to manually move slider back in

   Hello All,
I have a 2016 Rpod 179 - Hood River Edition.  Unfortunately, we experienced a huge power surge through the camper and almost all of the electronics on the camper now do not work.  This includes the fridge, the electronic monitoring panel, the a/c, all of the lights, the stereo - sound, dvd system, the overhead fan, the water pump, the furnace/ac control panel and I suppose the furnace fan but I can't turn it on to test due to the blown heat/ac controls and the switch for the slider to be brought in and possibly the slider motor.  

I I need to figure out how to get the slider pushed back in so i can transport the camper to a RV repair business to get an assessment. This model camper does not appear to have a manual crank for use in case of the failure of the motor.

How do i get the slider pushed back in?

Any help MUCH appreciated. Note I am not electronically competent. 

interestingly what does work are the interior wall sockets and the microwave. I have checked the power panel. The are no flipper breakers and no blown fuses.

	Interesting and I believe that all components you are having problems with either require 12v to control the unit or power the unit to operate. For example the fridge requires 12v to operate the "mother board" to control the fridges operation unlike a ceiling light which just operates on 12v power. The first thing to do is check ALL the 12v fuses in the electrical distribution box (or fuse box). Also make sure no 120v breakers are tripped. The power surge you experienced just may have fried all the 12v fuses which then need to be replaced with the same amperage fuses (including the 40a reverse polarity fuses). Hope this helps you and you may want to get a multimeter to assist you.

	+1 Check the easy stuff first like fuses and breakers. The slide is a pain to move back in. Near the top of the slide opening on each side behind the weather stripping, there are bolts (one each side) that have to be removed. This will allow the slide motor drive gear to be moved to the side and you can manually push the slide in. Once the slide is pushed in, you will need a 2X4 or some other object that will wedge between the inside trailer wall and the slide trim board to keep it in place while traveling. 	Since your 12V electronics and lights are off, it’s possible the failure is with the 12V converter. If there is no 12V measured at lights, TV, fridge, pump, etc. than the inverter maybe bad. Double check you have 12V at the battery. A very dead / shorted battery maybe preventing the inverter from providing 12V to these devices.
