Do you, or anyone, know how/if I can attach a bracket to it?
Is it just fiberglass? Some sort of composite? I don't know if it's hollow and would take an expansion anchor, or if I could just drill and screw into it.

It's rather large and heavy, and comes with a bracket intended to have 6 small holes drilled for installation directly to the back of the camper.

Needless to say, not thrilled about drilling into the Pod, but this will be the safest, most secure way to install it.

So, anyone know if there are any wires or plumbing to be aware of in the back wall? I'll be installing it as high as I can, just before the roof starts curving away. So, about 3 to 4 feet from the bottom, centered on the back wall.

I'm assuming there are some aluminum frame Members I might be able to ID with a stud finder, and hopefully can put a couple of screws into those. Otherwise I'll be installing with expanding anchors where it seems hollow.

Any concerns? Anyone ever drilled/installed something on the back wall from the outside?

Thanks!

I need HELP!!! : 2019 R‑Pod 196 – Lower Wall/Trim Separation on

After digging into it, I found the root cause wasn’t the wall at all — it was the #8 screws attaching the skirt to the floor.

Those screws run every ~10" along the bottom edge. The problem was that the screw heads were recessed too far into the skirt’s factory holes. The holes in the metal skirt were starting to fail, and the screw heads were close to pulling through. No washers from the factory, and the head diameter on those #8s is barely larger than the hole in the skirt. After enough highway miles, the skirt simply couldn’t hold its position anymore.

Here’s the fix that worked:

Bought #10 stainless Torx, 1" length, plus stainless washers.

Removed the factory #8 screws along the ~3 ft section that was failing.

Used a 2.5‑ton hydraulic jack with a wood block to gently push the skirt upward until the wall was fully seated back into the channel.

Reinstalled the skirt using the #10 screws + washers.

Had to move the jack a few times to get everything aligned.

Tightened the screws as firmly as possible without stripping.

Removed the jack — the skirt now sits at the correct height again.

Re‑caulked the seam between the wall and the skirt.

Everything is holding solid now, and the wall stays captured in the channel like it should.
