The best thing for me about a small prPod like a 177 is that it fits everywhere. 
Mostly I camp during the week and mostly in the off season.  
I now avoid National Parks.   I have been to 90% of them.  
I rarely make reservations for the rPod but I do make them for the big trailer which is 29 feet.

2026 Silverado EV Extended range towing R-Pod 180C. Gage says 408 when fully charges averaging 2.1 Miles per kWh empty normal driving. When towing Im getting 1.1 to 1.2 miles per kWh, so expecting range to be around 200 to 225 miles between charges. I will have more data after my 3000 mile trip coming up in May though. I have been working on a 177 about 10 years old this winter.   I took "Terrapin" out this week to the woods at a California State Park.  Everything works but the ceiling fan.  Fix that next. 

The rig fits everywhere which is why I bought it.  It is definitely compact but keeping things organized helps a lot.  I wish the bed was a few inches longer.  I am getting used to sleeping at an angle across the bed.  It is cozy and reminds of sleeping on a boat.   Not as well insulated as some larger rigs but overall very satisfactory.  The low was 34 degrees.  Making coffee got the rig up close to 50 degrees.  Next trip will be soon.

We were year round campers until we moved to east Idaho (we still camp year round, it just takes us longer to get far enough south to do so). While living in New Mexico, we relied heavily on our portable 130watt solar panel which we were able to point at the low sun angle. We also carried a small generator for back up. This is where Lifepo4 batteries really help in that they are energy dense and can be discharged well below 50% unlike AGM and flooded cell batteries.

It will be colder than think if you are coming from Texas. 
Down sleeping bag, Pendleton blankets, portable propane heater. 
Bring the right clothes.  Good long under wear, ski clothes.

The Oylmpics are wet all the time.   Forks on the coast gets 100 inches.  Some stations in the mountains get 200 inches per year. 
The PNW has a distinct drier season from July to early September.  This of course coincides with the peak tourist season.
