They did not have it available as an option. In any case, the first time you check the tires and add air, it starts to render nitrogen filling moot. I don't know anyone who carries a tank of nitrogen to top off tires. I carry a 12V Slime air compressor/light that I use. It is small and works for both the truck and the R-Pod. I can set the pressure and it cuts off when it reaches the set pressure, so I am more confident that I have the correct pressure.

Mine had less than 400 miles on them but I bought new Carlisle tires anyway. Old tires are fine but too close to capacity and I also read all the stories. I can't say it tows any differently but I have more confidence in the new tires. I'm glad FR upgraded the tires on newer models.
I did not ask Discount Tire about nitrogen and they did not ask. I bought the 179 last August and checked tire pressure prior to our 5 trips, no change. Checked them after sitting all winter and all were 15-20 lbs low. New tires are plain old air which will get checked/adjusted prior to all trips, and along the way on longer trips so I see no need to pay for nitrogen.

Have a good weekend
Nitrogen is resistive to changing tire pressures (if it is pure)with temp and does not retain moisture. It's benefits in normal use are minimal in my opinion. The most important thing is to maintain air pressure at load rated standard, I check mine for pressure and temp at almost every stop. If I was driving a 200 MPH camper for 500 miles, I might be convinced I need Nitrogen. The vehicles I have that came with Nitrogen have all been converted back to air, over time.
