As it turned out, the cutoff on the outside shower head was engaged and the hot and cold water were left on, causing the water to intermix through the faucet valves.

Water heater issues : The 180 should have the water...

    Author: StephenH
Subject: 9952
Posted: 15 May 2017 at 4:06pm

The 180 should have the water heater in the same location as the 179. If you look on the outside of your 180, you should see the outside portion of the water heater behind the drop-down cover. The inside portion is (naturally) in the same location on the inside. It will be under the queen bed. There are two ways of accessing the valves. One is to remove the mattress and remove the bed platform. The other is to crawl under the opening and remove the access panel that is under there behind the furnace. Once you gain access to the space, you will see which valve configuration you have. Adjust the valves appropriately, and it should fix the problem.
