Even though the filler cap on our Frontier is on the same side as the refrigerator vent, there is a good distance separating them. In addition, the bug screens would also act as a flame suppressor. Ours always runs on propane with the exception of one time we were approaching a tunnel in the east and there was a sign saying no propane usage so we stopped and switched over to our battery.  A couple minutes later we stopped again and switched back to propane.  Amazed as we have gone through longer tunnels out west and have never seen any signage stating to not run propane.  The filling cap on our Explorer is on the passenger side whereas the vent port for the fridge is on the drivers side, quite a distance separating the two I feel when fueling up.]]> Wed, 10 May 2017 16:02:56 +0000 http://www.rpod-owners.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=9924&PID=93003#93003 http://www.rpod-owners.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=9924&PID=92991#92991 Author: twodues

The (like 3) places it isn't, are marked. In most places, yes. Exceptions would be anywhere that doesn't have good ventilation (e.g. some tunnels).
