    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=3036" rel="nofollow">texman</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 9823<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 27 Apr 2017 at 1:56pm<br /><br />Sounds like a good plan.&nbsp; a few things you probably know, but just in case.&nbsp; Put that frig on propane for the drive and i would start it before you leave so it will be cold.&nbsp; also, the jacks are for leveling, so easy with that impact! hope you have some chocks so you dont roll into that gurgling creek.&nbsp; And if you forget something, you are very normal and you can usually find what you need nearby.&nbsp; just remember the beer.&nbsp;<img src="https://www.rpod-owners.com/smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" alt="Smile" title="Smile" />&nbsp; Everything else can wait.&nbsp;]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=6833" rel="nofollow">derilict</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 9823<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 27 Apr 2017 at 1:15pm<br /><br />Well, after almost 2 solid weeks of ownership, we're FINALLY hitting the dusty (muddy after all this rain) trail.&nbsp; It's been sitting in the driveway taunting me this whole time.&nbsp; We're R Pod newbies, RV newbies, so I'm fully expecting the learning curve to be, well, curvy.&nbsp; But that's ok.&nbsp; I THINK I've covered all the bases, thanks almost entirely to this forum.&nbsp; We're de-winterized (-ish), have gone over the whole Pod, stocked it, and I've put together several check-lists.&nbsp; Heck, I even got a 3/4" socket for my cordless impact so I can crank the leveling jacks up and down and look like I know what the hell I'm doing.&nbsp; Also curious how the slide-in awning thingy works--guess we'll find out.&nbsp;I'm anxious to get this thing set up, kick back, listen the creek, and crack open a frosty beverage.&nbsp; <br>]]>
