On the interweb, depending upon where in the country you are shopping, the prices go from 13,800, to 22,000 for a 171. It's crazy.

    Author: Danhalen
Subject: 9811
Posted: 26 Apr 2017 at 4:42pm

First time RV buyer here.

Decided on an RP-171 to get my family into trailer camping. I am really excited to get the adventuring started, and we are going to a local dealership to look at one this Saturday. The dealership has it advertised online for $14,800. While this is on par with the lowest advertised prices in the area, I'm just curious how much negotiation room there likely is with a price like that. It has been on their site for at least 3 weeks, and the advertised price has dropped $1,000 in that time.

It doesn't seem to have any options (no AC, awning, etc), but it is the Hood River Edition with the larger off road tires and additional clearance.

Any help or tips would be appreciated.

Thanks!
