Disconnect city water
2. Since your tank is full, you don't need to fill it. If it were empty, you would need to add water.
3. Turn the pump on.
4. Open faucets and shut them. Do this several tiimes.
5. Connect city water
6. Test to see if the check valve is unstuck
7. If successful, end. Else, repeat from step one. If still not successful, check to see if there is any manufacturing trash stuck in the pump blocking the valve. Check the filter basket to make sure it is empty of trash also.
When I connect the hose to the intake the storage tank fills up and spill out the tank fill cap.
I believe the backflow preventer is stuck open and letting the water flow back down the line and into the tank. Has anyone had this problem and know how to fix it?
