The empty weight is 2648, the GVW is 3757, the capacity is 1092 and it has a warning to account for the fresh water tank.  The new dealer brochure says the capacity of a 178 is 1165.  That may be due to 15" tires and an axle change, I have a 3500 Dexter.]]>

So you need to make sure you don't "move stuff from the pod to the truck.." and overload the truck.]]>

This would include such things as: clothes, food, water in the tanks, etc.  The trailer's chassis, suspension and tires are designed to carry only so much.  So, yes, it would be the amount while towing.  I hope this helps.]]>
