There really is nothing like going around the USA at ground level instead of flying over it. Congratulations!  You will certainly enjoy pulling a TT that has much better visibility because of it being narrower and lighter.  Probably your biggest challenge will be in what to bring and what to leave at home.  Downsizing can be quite a challenge yet when accomplished, reap great rewards.  If the 178 had been available when we purchased our 177 back in 2011, that would have been our pick.
