The stepper would turn the knob in response to turning the pot. The mod would also require bringing out the signal strength indicator lights to where they could be seen.]]>

It might involve relocating the items that would be in the way (outlet, antenna booster, etc. If you have any skill in making this type of modification, it might be a viable option.]]>

Unfortunately, it would also mean moving the location of the antenna because the directional knob would be in the airspace behind the stereo otherwise. I've actually considered doing this, but with DIRECTV NOW streaming over AT&T wireless, my interest in doing so has waned.]]>
