I'm thinking of heading up in that direction this summer myself. But i'm thinking more lake champlain. Theres an island half way up the lake, with a couple campgrounds on it. Im thinking that might do.

We have. It's a beautiful setting and right on Lake Ontario. It's one of the largest KOAs we've ever seen. There are many interesting, historical places to visit nearby. We stayed two nights, and it was in September.
