Yes they have their own pier on the sound side and let you put traps in off of that and there are several other areas that the local bait shop steered us to so we usually catch a bunch of blue crab to have during the month.
We usually go in the fall so that it is a lot quieter and not as crowded like it is during the summer.

Looking out the window and can barely see across the road due to the snow flurries! So we picked up the phone and locked in a month stay down on Cape Hatteras for this fall!
Will be the sixth year surf fishing down in Rodanthe!
