I bought a small ceramic heater at Home Depot in March of last year on clearance for $12.00.

Amazing how well it works, but always concerned about something so potentially dangerous so cheap. We have a Windmere. Measures 5.5x5.5x7, overload protection and tip over shutoff. Two ranges 1000 and 1500 watts. I use the Broan 6201 Big Heat, small cube heater (6"), with low and high selection, 1500 watts max and thermostat. We use one too. I think the 2 most important features are a thermostat and auto tip over shutoff.

Any 1500w (they are just about all 1500w) ceramic heater will work fine. Pick one with looks or features you like. Walmart, Target, just about any hardware store.

Be sure to get a ceramic heater. No hot wire smell. I got mine from sears. Two speeds, thermostat, tip over protection and ocelates. Hi all,

We are new Rpod owners, and are interested in buying a small electric heater of some sort to use when we are at a campground site with electricity. We are looking for recommendations from anyone using those little cube type heaters, or any other heater of a small size.
