8th annual ERU is in the books.. I didn't take as many pictures as usual.. harder to do when hosting.. BUT here are a couple.. 9th annual will be about a year from now...

It's in the first post.. Kentucky Horse Park, Georgetown KY. I believe the park is completely full now. There are 3 rallies/groups there that week.

It happens.. But yeah, if they would let you move to prims for one night.. non issue, except for breaking and setting up camp 5 minutes later.. LOL. The last time I hosted the ERU, we had two cancellations on Thursday. it may very well happen this year. as of last count we have 48 rigs attending, that's a lot of people that may have an issue..

Hate that.. no luck calling or going onto Reserve America (whichever you used) and trying to add that date?

If nothing else, when you check in, ask at the desk if they will have anything open up.. people cancel/no show every day..

OK.. there are a couple events set up.. The hosts this year are not making a lot of big plans and setting up tours many may not want to do.. so.. It's going to be a mostly "do your own thing" rally.. which to me, is the best kind..

Rally hosts are on sights 2 and 3, the activities area will be behind them.. If you have a spare easy up, you might bring it along, shade may be sparse back there..

But on Thursday evening there will be a hot dog roast. Hot dogs, buns, plates and flatware will be provided. Bringing a favorite side of you own to share is appreciated, but not required in any way.

On Saturday evening we will have the traditional "pod luck".. bring a favorite dish.. I know at least 3 attendees will be smoking pork butts all day for it.. so I know there will be "some" pulled pork.. Wink

No site is to far away.. LOL.. you just won't be sleeping in the main group area.. By the time you walk through, make 75 new friends, you will just be hanging with some of them in the rally area.. or siteseeing, etc.

If you do reserve, since you are outside the 40 reserved sites PLEASE post your site number and dates here, so we can keep track of attendee numbers, names, etc...
