Many of the sites we use are wooded and so that puts a limitation on solar. &nbsp;Also, I don't know the specs on the refrigerator but when it is running on propane, I don't think it takes much power at all. &nbsp;We are only into our third year of podding so we are still learning! &nbsp;]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=1008" rel="nofollow">Pod People</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 9188<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 08 Jan 2017 at 8:24am<br /><br />In the top right corner of the page is the "search" feature.&nbsp; Put solar in that feature and search--you will find quite a few posts from forum members who have added solar systems to their pods.&nbsp; These systems&nbsp; are very useful in keeping your batteries charged while boondocking (not being plugged in to an electric&nbsp; power supply).&nbsp; solar can be&nbsp;a huge benefit.&nbsp; Many of the newer pods have a prewired connection to the battery. some systems are made by Zamp. some by Renogy and several other manufacturers.&nbsp; Most of your powerr needs can be met by using anywhere from 100-150 watts of generating capability.<br><br>Read the various posts and do some on-line research.&nbsp; You will learn a lot and have enough knowledge to ask more specific question.&nbsp; there are a lot of people on this forum who have solar systems and are glad to answer questions.<br><br>Vann<br>]]>
