I to am looking for an affordable midsize pickup. Frontier is a solid vehicle.
As far as the bathroom, I camp in a lot of state parks. They have good showers. Just check before you go.Private campgrounds can b hit and miss. When I get my pod I'll get the wet bath and use it only when truly needed. This will open up more camping to me 👍🏼😀Again I camp mainly on state or federal campgrounds with showers.

Good luck 🍀

I figured I was close to maxing out with the jeep. I have decided to get rid of the Jeep (it hurts just to type it) and look for a Tundra, like yourself. I went to a dealership today and looked the pods, they are pretty cool.
They didn't have a 182g to look at, but had many other layouts. Will keep researching.
Thanks again for the feedback.

Bathroom is small, but not bad. You can also use the outdoor sink faucet for a shower as well. you might check out my mods to see the things i have done to the stock 182g.

Texman
I bought an Rp172 @ 2120 pounds and was intending to use my subaru outback which has 3000 tow capacity. Ive decided its to risky to run a tow vehicle at its capacity at all times. Remember, everything counts in the load, the weight of the people, the cargo, the trailer, everything. I am now deciding between the toyota tacoma, and the nissan frontier, both with over 6000 pounds of tow capacity, tranny coolers, and extra electrical output to run the trailers electrical needs, brakes, lights etc.. I want to be sure that if i had any type of accident or anything, i would not be able to be criminally charged for something like being overloaded. Its not worth it. Its your call, but the 180 your looking at probably weighs about 2800 pounds. Just my opinion.

We are pretty much novices, but before our boys get too cool to hang with us, we want to show them this fine country we live in. Our current TV is a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara. I'm not totally familiar with towing capacities other than what I have researched (I think 3500lbs). I don't plan on changing my TV anytime soon. We are interested in the R182-g. The garage space and bunk beds are the deciding factor for us, size of bathroom being a drawback, but again, being novices we would appreciate any feedback on the type of pod we buy. Anyone towing with a similar vehicle I would appreciate any feedback on any modifications you made to your jeep. I've read all sorts of stuff about transmission coolers, sway bars, 7 pins, additional brake systems etc., but TBH, I don't understand most of it, and whether any of it is necessary. I've been looking through the forum and have been somewhat educated on Pod ownership a little, but I just need some feedback from people with a similar TV.
Thanks in advance.
