The axle is not made for lifting. You can damage it. If you can avoid putting pressure on the axle, you can lift it. <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=7712&amp;PID=82715&amp;title=our-escapod-mods#82715" target="_blank">In my mods</a>, I show a block that I made for using a hydraulic floor jack to raise my R-Pod for tire changing, axle lubing, brake adjusting, etc.<br>]]>

I also have experienced some slippage in my driveway, which has some slope, but not much. The plastic chocks do not do very well. They tend to slip. <a href="https://smile.amaz&#111;n.com/gp/product/B001UGPEJA/ref=pd_sim_263_2?ie=UTF8&amp;pd_rd_i=B001UGPEJA&amp;pd_rd_r=RC1JXCRYX9GN2Q42N9Z2&amp;pd_rd_w=3j1JN&amp;pd_rd_wg=RTdI8&amp;psc=1&amp;refRID=RC1JXCRYX9GN2Q42N9Z2" target="_blank">The BAL Single Tire Chock</a> clamps on to the wheel and prevents it from rolling. I highly recommend it. The only downside is that it does stick out a little, so one has to watch out not to kick it. It hurts to do so. <img src="https://www.rpod-owners.com/smileys/smiley26.gif" border="0" alt="Pinch" title="Pinch" /><br>Use the stabilizers for stabilizing only. They are not made to lift the R-Pod.<br>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=1146" rel="nofollow">jato</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 9027<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 14 Nov 2016 at 4:01am<br /><br />We have camped in some pretty extreme conditions that include very uneven terrain.&nbsp; We only use the plastic lego blocks under the tires to bring our 177 to level.&nbsp; Only use your stabilizers for that purpose, to stabilize your pod after it is level side to side and fore to aft.&nbsp; Make sure you have good tire chocks as well, once I didn't do it properly and the pod rolled downhill about 6 feet.<br>]]>
